Our Story

Cotton Lane Baptist Church, located in Waddell, Arizona, is a not-so-traditional church dedicated to fostering a welcoming community and spiritual growth. Our mission is to provide a place of worship and fellowship for individuals seeking to deepen their faith and connection to God. Through engaging services, impactful outreach programs, and a strong sense of community, we strive to create a warm and inclusive environment where all are welcomed with open arms.

CLBC is a Biblical-purpose-driven church. We exist to worship God, help people grow in Jesus Christ, encourage people in their daily lives, and reach out to our community using relevant worship services and fellowship groups to convey the Hope of Christ.

We exist to provide an environment where people can discover and develop a passion for God that is real, relevant, and relational.

CLBC follows the Southern Baptist Faith and Message, meaning we uphold the truths that:

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction therefor wholly true and trustworthy.

There is only one living a true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
